The suit is what Samus wears underneath her Power Suit. While wearing the suit she also wields a weak pistol known as the Paralyzer that has the ability to temporarily stun her enemies. It's blue in colour, being skin-tight to allow for fast maneuvering and acrobatic feats that would simply not be possible in the Power Suit.
 Metroid: Zero Mission
The first appearance of the Zero Suit is in Metroid: Zero Mission, Samus finds herself using it after crash-landing on a planet due to an attack by Space Pirates near the Space Pirate Mothership and consequently losing her Power Suit (though she acquires a better one later on). This is the game where the Paralyzer makes its appearance as an alternative to the Arm Cannon.
 Metroid Prime: Hunters
Seen during the ending scene of Metroid Prime: Hunters. The suit does not have gloves in this game and has different marking, including a green line running down the back
 Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Seen during the ending scene of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. The version of the suit changes slightly for this game, incorporating more grey.
 Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Seen during the introduction and after a 100% completion at the ending scene of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
 Metroid Prime Trilogy
Refer to Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
 Metroid: Other M
Little is currently known, though the markings on the suit have changed again. This game also shows the transition between Zero Suit and Power Suit, the first time this has ever occurred.
