GENERAL MULTIPLAYER STRATEGIES

There are several techniques and methods involved in multiplayer, learn them here by clicking more details!

Appropriate Camping
When not sniping, you can camp to try and kill other people. There is a good kind of camping and a bad kind.

The bad kind is getting to a place where you can't be hit easily and neither can your opponent. This is going to end in a tie and can cost you points.

The good kind is hiding near health or items and setting traps there that people can walk into. This can potentially do high damage if you use the right character as you're luring them into close range.

Weavel and Sylux are excellent campers since their alt forms are built for it.

Death Alt
This is the most powerful item in the entire game. The Death Alt is available and converts you straight to your alt form. You will be surrounded by an orange aura and will be able to kill anyone by touching them for a few seconds or less. You cannot revert to biped until the power wears off but this ifar greater than biped.

The Death Alt is located in three levels with are Head Shot, Ice Hive, and Processor Core (4 Player Only).

In Head Shot, it is located in the bottom floor of the center of the arena. The beginning of a fight will be a race to this point.

In Ice Hive, it is located in the crashed pillar room (the room past the Judicator). To find it, go to the floor where the pillar is on the ground. More or less opposite the point where the pillar is crashed, there will be a rectangular hole in the wall where it is located. This will also be a race to the alt but there are various ways to reach it. This can be anyone's game and depends on luck.

In Processor Core, it will appear on the upper level in an alt form tunnel opposite the Double Damage only in 4 player. Most people don't know of this Death Alt so most will not go for it. Head for it immediately, snag it, and surprise your enemies.

Defeating Alt Abusers
Alt abusers are a fairly common occurence in WiFi and are very annoying. They will spend 90% of the fight attacking in their alt and may even do nothing else. To defeat them you need to understand the mechanics and weaknesses of their alt and force them into their biped.

Morph Ball: It has troubles getting on ledges, get some height over it and nuke it. It also is linear so jumping it isn't that hard. You can hit it with the Magmaul to hurt it good.

StingLarva: The StingLarva is slow but will hurt you badly at close range. Combat it from afar with the Shock Coil, Volt Driver, etc.

Dialanche: The Dialanche is slow but can get on walls. On the ground, hit it with anything. On the walls, use the Imperialist or Judicator to hurt it bad.

Triskelion: The Trisk is fast and can go invisible. If it lunges, jump over it and try the Magmaul or Volt Driver. If it turns invisible, find it on the radar, maintain distance and hit it with a high damage charged shot. You can also force them to biped with a ledge.

Vhoscythe: The Vhoscythe is easy to combat, fight it on ramps where it has trouble moving and hit it with whatever you like. Remember, it isn't fast and doesn't have much attack ability if you're far enough. Just blast it and keep your distance.

LockJaw: The LockJaw is powerful but it has two weaknesses. The first is walls where it cannot hit you easily and the second is slopes where triangles are not as easy to pull off.

Half-Turret: This is difficult to combat. New people will abuse it so Shock Coil it and it won't pose a problem. For better players, they will confuse you a lot with it. You can choose to damage the Turret but it will try to return damage you give to it with faster shots over a longer range. You can also follow the top half but it will reattach and detach the Turrret again. Use as much power on the top half as you can.

Preventing One Hit Kills
The difference between a good player and a bad player is preventing other players from getting one hit kills. There are a few ways for this to happen.

1. Using the zoomed Imperialist for a headshot

2. Using the charged Judicator with anyone but Noxus for a triple headshot

3. Using the charged Judicator with Noxus and following up with an Imperialist headshot

4. Using the DeathAlt

5. Using the OmegaCannon

6. Using a LockJaw triangle (near lethal damage)

7. Using Double Damage for a rapid attack

To evade them:

1. Use your alt form in any obvious places where Snipers might perch, snipe back, or just fight them if they're trying to snipe up close.

2,3. Maintain distance, this can't kill you if you are too far.

4. Run and set traps, DeathAlt users are deadly directly but are usually aggressive and can still be killed.

5. Hide behind cover, this weapon has enormous splash damage.

6. Watch out for triplines and watch your radar. You can predict how a triangle will form based on this.

7. Run or fight back, double damage is only as dangerous as the person using it.

Sniping
The Imperialist is quite possibly the most important weapon in the game and therefore you should know how to use it.

As you know, the Imperialist fires a red beam of energy over long distances.

When zoomed in, the Imperialist does double damage which is when headshots become lethal. Additionally, the Imperialist zooms further when on or near an enemy's body or alt form. This will happen whether they are behind walls or half way across the stage. This leads us to a technique called the Imperialist radar. When you're not sure where an enemy is and you are well protected, you can use the Imperialist to seek out your enemies.

Sniping itself is a delicate art. Most people will go for headshots but remember that regular shots will do 72 damage if on the body. Head shots should be aimed for but they won't be easy to get all the time. The first obvious idea is to get cover. Solid cover and high ground is important as it gives you cover/perspective.

The most important sniping technique is using holodoors to snipe. These doors are bright, colored, and have an octogonal pattern. They are in nearly every level. The beauty of them is, they can be shot through, seen through if you're right up close to it, but not seen through if you are far. Therefore, you can snipe through these doors without being seen at all. People will fire back at you and they might get lucky so you should consider moving to a different location or at least using your alt form so that you're lower to the ground and won't get headshot.
